First April update

Friday, April 17th, 2009

Sorry for the lack of updates recently. It’s not for lack of productivity.

As you know we’re beta testing traffic channel specific implementations of RoboCrush and hope to be able to work on merging some of the aggregate trending data in order to create super-aggregrate trending model overlays, although the complexity of that project has grown terribly out of scope.

We’ve been looking quite a bit at the RC-Factor as well now that we are gathering more data on S-Trending and believe we have a better understanding of what the real value of the RC-Factor will be for businesses.

Admittedly we are still in some very theoretical stages at this point so massaging of the various data mining algortithms and their contingent real-world model implementation in order to create business value propositions is to be expected.

What can I say.

Hang tough!

New president for the U.S., new direction for RoboCrush

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

With every new beginning there is change. Whether major or minor change will always have it’s issuess…as a part of life and as a part of America - and as a part of Robocrush.

We’ve been out of site, but not out of mind. We’ve had our nose to the grindstone and our feet to the pavement. Yes, we’ve partly been scrambling, but we’ve mostly been thinking and planning - thinktanking as it were about the future direction of our beta testing phases.

The ultimate direction of Robocrush has not changed, but sometimes the path to a final destination must take into account the unpredictable changes to the landscape required to get there. Anyone who’s ever downloaded driving directions from an online mapping service only to be faced with unanticipated constructions knows exactly what I mean.

We will reach our destination. And we will travel whatever new path we must in order to get there.

Time to face the facts - whatever those are…

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

Well, I never would have thought I’d be writing this post when we started the initial beta testing team application process for Robocrush - but it’s time to face the facts - whatever those are.

What I mean is that obviously there’s a lot of uncertainty in the economy right now and yes, that’s had an impact on how fast we can roll things out.

Are we quitting? Of course not. You know us better than that.

But we will need to reprioritize our initial rollout sequence along with the required training to for each step of the sequence.

For those of you with friends and family in either Bankok or Mumbai, our thoughts our with you.

The economy and RoboCrush

Friday, November 14th, 2008

Needless to say the economy is affecting a lot of businesses these days - and that includes RoboCrush.

We want to assure you that we’re in this for the long-haul and do not plan on throwing in the towel even duringĀ  these troubled financial times.

You may have seen the following news release:

“Secretary Henry M. Paulson, Jr. will discuss the economy and financial markets Monday at a meeting of the Wall Street Journal CEO Council. The meeting will bring together CEOs of major global companies for a two day meeting on the economy and the issues ahead.”

Of course there are a ton of factors to consider - not as many as in the RCFactor, though - ;)

Scaling back - not shutting down.

Friday, November 7th, 2008

In our spirit of transparency (well, as much as we can be transparent anyhow, without jeapordizing our business)…we want to confirm some rumors that we will be scaling back…but this does NOT mean that we are shutting down.

Like many companies and individuals, we’ve felt the effects of the economy as well and this has required us to make difficult decisions even as we move innovatively forward.

In a way we are better poised than ever to have a major impact on new and developing companies that require a new type of market analysis based on unique ways of aggregating trends that wasn’t possible with previous technology.

We will let everyone know as soon as possible the potential impact on his or her particular situation.
